Amazingly, there’s only one blog post (do read it!) that mentions MacKenzieheartsu, the YouTube name of the girl/character involved, and the follow-up videos. I guess this is what you call a viral marketing flop.
There’s now a second blog post with additional evidence that the videos are to promote Domino’s Pizza.
More sinister is that all the commenters so far on this post are named R[vowel]ohan. But don’t worry too much because there could be six of us at most.
This is very sinister indeed. I mean the R*hans. Dominos is relatively harmless…although I think the ingredients of their dough are suspect. Mackenzieheartsu (or the girl who plays her) deserves a faux-Oscar for her faux-viral efforts. As for me, it appears I wasted a perfectly good blog post…or am I just a shill for the (pizza) Man?
